Method 1:
The first thing you should do is change the DNS settings on your PS4.
- Navigate to Settings and then Network.
- Select the option to configure an internet connection.
- Depending on the type of internet you are using, select Wi-Fi or LAN cable.
- Then select Custom.
- If you chose Wi-Fi, then select the Wi-Fi to which you are currently connected.
- Select Automatic for the IP address settings.
- Select Do Not Specify for the DHCP Host Name.
- Select Manual for the DNS settings.
- Set the Primary DNS address to 8.8.8.8 and the Secondary DNS address to 8.8.4.4. To save the changes, click Next.
If your download speed remains unchanged, change the primary DNS to 1.1.1.1 and the secondary DNS to 1.0.0.1. Select Automatic for MTU settings. Select Do Not Use for Proxy Server. Select Test Internet Connection and wait for it to complete.
Method 2:
If you still facing errors then follow this step to fix it. If you were using Wi-Fi, the next step is to connect using an Ethernet cable. Ethernet cable will speed up and stabilize the network and should correct the problem.
Method 3:
You can also try logging out of your PSN account and logging in.
Select Account Management from the settings menu. Select Sign Out next. Sign back in after you’ve exited to check if the issue is still present.
